I was thinking of incorporating a fingerling tank into my setup. I was just going to plumb a 200l blue barrel (bout half way up, so have a constant 100l in there and an extra 100l as a "sump" so to speak) into the main tank.
How many fingerlings would you be able to hold in there and for how long?
Would it increase the productivity of the system? Or would its effect be insignifigant?

Thanks for all of your opinions
Jono.

IMO.... 100L isn't worth anything, other than possibly a short-term holding tank for salting...

Too small for a sump, and too small for any more than about 50 fingerlings temporarily... with aeration and water changes...

Turn them into growbeds... much more productive...

It was more because i've got a gravity fed system to alow me more water to pump into the gb's. Basically expanding my tank and using it as dual purpose.
