In my initial search for timers I see most only function at 30 minute intervals!, I don't think that will work for me unless I divert water to the FT for aeration.My pump is a bit oversized cause I needed the extra "head".........Any thought from the pros!!.......gracias!!

Electronic as opposed to mechanical timers generally have smaller time increments.

Most timers have a 15 min function... works nicely with a 15min "on" 45 min "off" system with a standpipe arrangement...

+1 for electronic
1m increments, but only 20 or so periods a day

Repeat cycle timers make life SO easy. You can set the pump time for exactly what you need with your pump and beds, but then if you use stand pipes it does not matter if you pump to long with a large pump.
