more managable than my stupidly large one I did last year... I did not have enough waste creation to sustain that much water. |

How much grow bed volume do you have? You should be able to raise enough fish in 800 gallons to feed a small family. If you have an excessive amount of grow bed you could even raise the fish more intensively. |

If you have an excessive amount of grow bed you could even raise the fish more intensively. Currently I am running 400 gallons for the fish, the grow bed (single for now) is 4ft wide 16ft long. I may need to add another to fit all the plants I want in. |

I like it. Is this the first year that you have used this style of "grow bed"? |

I am using large sand filters modified with gravel inside. I have a 100lbs sand filter that holds about 1 barrel of gravel and another sand filter that is 50lbs that has sand in it. http://idisk.mac.com/slicerdicer/Public ... pleted.JPG new pictar... I guess I never noticed your raft system in any other threads. I need to pay better attention. |
