Well it has been about 18 months since I’ve been offline with AP. What has been learned since I’ve been gone? Any significant developments? New designs? Lessons learned? Any major changes to the forum? I am still undergoing legal battles with the ex missus so my resources are still tied up. But I do have a green pool stocked with carp and bluegill at the moment. Just waiting for pump, greenhouse, and growbed money. So what significant progress has been made since 2006? |

Hi Mike! Lots of new folks, AP is self-sustaining now. Have you seen the BYAP newsletters and magazines? |

Seriously there is so much going on day to day here on the forum that I don't have time to read all of it, hence the .sig -> |

Hi there and welcome back!!!!! I'm not quite sure of the state of things when you were last active here. It seems CHIFT PIST has become a favored method among many in the past year that I have been active here. I can personally say that Humonia Ponics (pee ponics or special home brew Hydroponics? or fishless aquaponics if you will) works just fine and seems to require just about the same iron and potassium supplementation as Fishy Aquaponics. ummmmm I guess you will just have to pick through and see what you can find that looks interesting to read up on. |

I'm looking at the sustainable thread. When I left here, I was trying to solve the low head, slow pump dillema to create sustainablity. I also see alot of the composting threads and a new permaculture discussion. Very nice people. |
