Has anyone used this to water proof cement or to seal a cement fish tank. It says dries clear Non Toxic. |

My cousin is a brickie and he has been using it on ponds and the like... He seems to think its a good product.. I am about to start construction on a Limestone surrounded pond, 2/3 above ground and 1/3 below.. 2600mm x 1900mm x 1400mm deep. I planned on fibre glassing the internals but after chatting to him I think i might have a look at the other options out there. If anyone has used it... what are the adhesive qualities like?? can you put multiple coats on?? what is its life expectancy when submerged AND when in direct sunlight... What are others thoughts on using it in an AP system.. Food safe? (i suppose it would be if its "non toxic") What about products like you would use for " Spray on Ute body liners" they are textured, coloured and seem to hold up well in the back of a ute.. could something like that be sprayed into a structure to water-proof it?.. even if multiple coats were required.. |

nuhwah - that is an admix... I'd be really surprised if a thin film would 'cut' it, for long... |

Just thinking of adding it to the mortar to brick up a large GB. Can always paint something over it. We mix it into the cement when we make grease traps. But I guess the grease help with the water proofing. Does the biofilm help seal cement. |
