Has anyone here used these stackable pots to grow UP? We just bought a greenhouse and have plans for a AP system. I saw these pots and was wondering how I could get them to work with AP. They are drip irrigated and I was thinking I could either manually water them from the tank or...OK I'm not sure. Anyone use this kind of thing--any ideas on how to water it?

I suppose I could use a growing medium that won't hold water and just run a capped PVC run across the top of the stacks?

Any ideas would be appreciated. The stacks themselves are pretty cheap if you don't get all the hydroponic equipment with them. 20 pots with the swivel base are $109.00. That's about 80 plants in 1' x 7' footprint.

They were discussed on this thread Aquamama... viewtopic.php?p=109531#p109531

That's if they're the Verti-Gro system... bit hard to tell from the pic, but looks like them ...

Jaymie has some nifty homemade vertical towers on the above page (if I did this right). They may not be less expensive, but look much more durable than styrofoam. And no perlite to clog things.

Hope this helps
