Hello all,

I'm still having a problem with small cone snails living in the growbeds... They attack germinating seeds and therefore prevent from sowing certain seeds directly in the GB.

I've heard that iron is toxic to snails at certain levels but can't find precise information about that.
Anyone know if there are concentrations of iron DTPA that are toxic to snails, but harmless to fish & plants ?

Thanks,

Might be able to look at the specs for Sluggo http://growslugfree.com/ which is an iron phosphate snail bait (that may have the information you need). I doubt you have this product where you are but if you do it might be a good bet.
