A while back Kudapucat was talking about top hat washers (bungs). Drill hole shove in washer and push hose through sort of thing. Went to find my book mark and it no longer exists.

Does any body remember what their proper name was. I want to be armed with the right information when I go to the plumber supplies shop. Its a case of ask the right question to get the right answer sort of shop, cheap but not very helpful if you don't know what your talking about.

Tophat washer or Tophat grommet is how they're most commonly known.
EVERY Hydro store I've ever been to stocks them, and most irrigation stores. Plumbers are 50% likely to look at you blankly or get you something completely different.

Thanks Kuda, I think I have an irrigation shop near by. Turk and Sons or somthing like that so I'll pull in and see them first.

Things are calming down... slowly
I'm almost able to read 50% of new posts every day...

Here in the states, I've found Uniseals work well and are cheap. Here is the only place I've found them so far.
