Post subject:  Air around edge of tank
My fish tank is 1100 across and holds approx 1000 L I use a SLO to get water out,

the walls and floor have mild algie and I thought if extra air, therefore more water turbulence would achieve this.

Now if I put a ring of 19mm poly pipe around the inside base and have 2 air inlets (one each side) what size air pump am I looking at.

or is there a simpler way :D

If you can cover the tank walls and put on a lid so light can't get in. Short of that maybe get a couple of algae eaters :)
