Post subject:  Fertilizer for aquaponics ( Indoor)

hello

i built an indoor DIY aquaponic system in my office room , i m using the tank to breed guppies fishes and grow mostly greens ( basil , cilantro, mustard, oregano , peppers etc)

since i m fairly new to aquaponics i always worry of what fertilizer i could use because the fishes are sensitive.

so far i started to use Chelated IRon 7% and epson salt, it helped a lot .

but i would like to know from your experience, which fertilizer is best to use for best results in aquaponics ?

based on my research it looks like the seaweed fertilizers are the safest and most effective option.

i found a few but not sure which is best ? and what detail to focus on ?

Im in Canada by the way

MAXICROP Liquid Seaweed ?

Neptune harvest ?

Kelpman seaweed fertilizer ?

if someone can help me based on their experience its much appreciated.

thanks in advance

Hi,
most AP growers use maxicrop seaweed with success.
Chelated iron every 3 weeks and alternate using calcium and potassium carbonate to buffer ph and add more nutrients.
good luck
