I tried searching this and found some comments on doing it but nothing helpful. I have an IBC tote system and was wanting to add an nft gutter system to it but I don't want to build an entire platform for it. So instead I'm looking for any ideas or advice on the system design. I'd prefer it elevated above or level with the grow bed. May grow a few plants in it but mostly plan on duckweed being grown in it and maybe introduce some crawfish. I have ideas on how to do it but can't seem to think of the words needed to search for the parts. I imagine hooks onto the steel frame and supports the weight off the nft but would appreciate any advice from people who have the ability to think at the moment |

Tubes on a flat at Grow Bed height. try these threads. (1) Andreas - Crappy Bail Growers R Us Big thread but he does a section of pages on (blue clear) tubes early on - good example. Try around pages 6-12 (2) Dangerous Dave - tubes around a grow bed in a compact system. viewtopic.php?f=18&t=22374 few others around - use the advanced search for NFT tubes and you will also find the NOT NFT TUBES thread which also has some examples of NOT NFT TUBES.... viewtopic.php?f=11&t=5311&hilit=NFT+Tubes re: fixtures - most people use frames of some sort.... however you could use shelf brackets or garage/shed storage hooks |
