Ok cycling with fish. Its about 3 weeks in. Had nitrite spike 2wks in did 50% water change. Salted tank to 1ppm. Before salting I was loosing 2 fish a day average. 3 days after salting no dead fish but nitrite still high. How long should it take for it to drop? Thanks for the help |

Hope you mean 1 part per thousand (1gm per liter) on the salt. Usually nitrite will take a few days to a week so it probably won't be that much longer. |

Good to hear, sometimes you get deaths strung out over a period even after salting. |
