Divorce and relocation forces me to get rid of the system.

You can view it here

http://www.backyardaquaponics.com/forum ... .php?t=504

If you come get it, you can take everything. I have no more space for the tanks and growbeds :( I cannot afford to store them.

Please PM me here or email me at : michael_ferrini@yahoo.com if interested.

The syatem is located in Yuba City, California.

Thanks everyone, yes it is sad and very hard to let go, but I can't stay in an unhealthy relationship for fish. I wish I had more options, but simply no space to set it up.

All the fish have been donated to a local asian family for food value.

The main tank (500g.) the sump (250g.) and the two growbeds (2'x12'ea.) are awaiting a good home. Systyem takes up approximately 190 square feet.

It comes with a 1/3 hp sump pump and a timer. Two box fans....
I will give it away on Craigslist if no takers here.

I'll stay around the forum lurking and always keeping an eye out for everyone.

John I am staying in Yuba City for the kids. I bought a house less than 3 miles from the wife so I can share custody. The house has no yard or space for BYAP :(:(

If nobody claims the system I might just see if some local school wants to do the project and I can volunteer to run it.

We'll see......

Sorry about your losses.

Oh Michael, I am very sorry to hear this. I wish you all the best and I hope your new home has good vibes for you and that your life improves. Take care of your self and your children.

I'm sure the AP equipment will find a good home too.

I love that idea. Would be awesome to see you do that. I hope you can find ways to do AP at your new house, maybe vertical stacks or something?

Good luck with everything, sounds like you're going through a ton of change, try not to fight them too hard, just embrace them and make the changes work for you.

Perhaps you could 'rent' Land off the school for the price of teaching the kids abotu AP and some fish and veggies... Keep your system alive, and producing, and educate kids.

So sorry to hear your troubles, Mike. Hang in there and plan for System II one day. I learned a lot from your system.

I second janet, I have learnt so much from your system as those that are aware I think you where the first to construct a system where the fish tank could remain at a constant level.

Hope all is well for you.

If you have the motivation for change it is for the better because it takes a lot of guts to move on.

I concur with everyones sympathies, your system has inspired great ideas and great discussion. Let's hope it lives on at the school or elsewhere.

I'm currently living away from home but I'm lucky that I can return as required to maintain my system.
