I was wondering if liguid potash can be safely added to an AP system. I have a "Searles" liquid potash which contains phosphorus (P) 4% and potassium (K) as carbonate 20%

You can just ash from a hard wood fire; only the white ash. Its high in K too. In-fact thats how pot ash was made years ago.

On soil potash has a strong effect on pH bringing it up. As for Liquid potash I'm not sure what else might be involved.
