Hi, found some things in the garage that may be of use. I beleive they are left over from when when I used to keep community fish aquarium heavy planted (only have cichlid tanks now). From memory I got them from KMart for about $20 each.

Do you think they are safe?
How much to use per 1000L?

It's tough to know if anything is safe until you try it. I'd say those are probably safe--the analysis is similar to what I use. I'd start with just a very low dose and monitor the fish. Maybe a couple spoonfuls per 1000 liters and see how things go.

Could try a very weak mixture as a foliar feed on a test plant and see if it makes a difference.

I think Rupe's concern was for the fish, not the plants. I'm sure the plants would like it. Fish don't mix well with copper.

I use Dr. Earth Liquid supplement. It has some organic fertilizers but what I really like is it has a wide spectrum of trace minerals that my plants seem to lack otherwise. I use a pretty dilute dose in several treatments. So far the fish have been fine.

I have added small quantities of phosphate (seems OK), and regular doses of potassium bicarbonate to bring pH up as well as supplement potassium. I'm currently reducing the bicarb supplement as the oyster shells seem to be kicking in.

i've added iron, potassium and magnesium without any ill effects. copper would be death though, i'd avoid putting it in.

The analytical data contained on this sheet is expressed as %or mgm/litre or weight/weight on a wet weight basis

I take this to mean W/W = percentage weight of substance per weight of water.

1L Water = 1kg

so
Quote:
Nitrogen as ammonium 1.50 % W/W

means 15g/L

which seems a lot.
