im movin to anchorage taking a transfer to the geeksquad up there. always wanted to move to alaska and finnaly i am! wooohooo 2 months left to go ..... 2 months left to sell everything i own. any aquaponic's people in alaska? |

I think you will find that Ems IS our most northerly (regular) member at 61o 35'N. Anchorage is a bit south of him, at 61o 13'N. Bestcoast, in Sweden, is at 57oN, Xzorby, the Netherlands, at 52oN |

I believe at the equator there are what 1 nautical mile per minute... so 60 per degree. However that far north it's less. 1 naut. Mile = 1.852km (approx 1.15 miles) I really can't be bothered doing the math to work out what the distance/degree is at that latitude... Edit: That's as for longitude(EW), in regards to latitude (N/S) the distance is constant. |
