I have been following Mark B's build, and found myself wishing for winter for the first time in my life. I am really interested to hear of the outcome.

Does anyone have experience with these solar passive greenhouses? From what I gather, normal hoophouses/tunnels are great for heating fish tanks, but terrible at keeping them warm at night. How much of a difference will a solar passive greenhouse make?

In the South African highveld, the winter water temperatures are not favourable for tilapia farming. As a result, tilapia is treated as seasonal crop. I am wondering if passive solar greenhouses won't help to bridge this gap?
