There is lots of information on this. Simply use the search function on the forum and you will find a lot of information about different deficiencies. Here is the link for one that has a lot of information on potassium. |

there's plenty of potassium suppliments out there. i have a slight problem with it in my tomatoes but nothing else oddly. i mixed up a spray bottle of iron, potassium and magnesium and it's fixed my plants right up, though they still show signs of N deficency (need more fish). I suspect the source of the problem is my little pond pump isn't moving the solids, so i'm missing a critical part of the system. |

What happens when it breaks down? Do I need to worry about that? |

SlicerDicer wrote: What happens when it breaks down? Do I need to worry about that? It creates those nice solids timmy was referring to not having because of his little pump... I shouldn't expect you have anything to worry about timmy wrote: I suspect the source of the problem is my little pond pump isn't moving the solids, so i'm missing a critical part of the system.

potassium bicarbonte might give you a quicker response, but it will raise the ph, use with caution |

Yep I put a banana in each of my growbeds. Three days and every thing looked real nice. |

dt that was timmy talking about the pump problem and solids. Will the glucose and sucrose in the banana feed the bacteria too? Similar to Molasses? |

Don't see why not. I am not a biologist. Basically I just do it and if it greens and grows then I know I am on to something. Someone smarter than me will have to answer that one. |
