yes tried to kill the plants with trive daily
then the water went back into my pond
this is why im going to try aquaponics

woohw--fish don't like thrive in fact it kills them!!
What kind of fish are you going to keep?
as in table or viewing?

Lucky.... next time try "Seasol" or "Maxicrop"..... both safe to fish and the plants love it :D

Just thinking Hunter.... it was probably the high Phosphorus content in the Thrive that caused your algael bloom.... just like you see in the dams after periods of rain, when all the "phosphates" are washed into the catchment.

wouldnt that mean that you would want to run it through the beds so that the plants can use it all up ?

Given that it hasn't killed your goldies yet then yep you might as well run it through and let the plants suck it up :D
