Should I use my soup water from my pond?\
I have 4000l of rain water to plush it out,but through the plants would like it.
The filter keeps getting blocked with old plant matter

Hi Hunter, is ur pond ur sump for ur ap setup, or do you have a seperate system? Your pond will have the bacteria required to kick start ammo conversion in a new setup, it is therefor most beneficial, (ie-u have the bacteria and you don't have to wait for it to colonise ur growbeds and start converting ammo thru to nitrate.) There may be nitrates in the pond water for ur plants but the real benefit in the muck is that bacteria. Dump some of this in ur growbeds and it will give things a kick along, cycling wise.
