| Post subject: | Attaching Shadecloth |
Have ordered the plastic to arrive this week. We will fix it front to back along the length of the gh. (gh faces north.) Tape that down etc no worries. We are going to use some of the shadecloth I got on ebay on each end to help moderate temps. What is the best way of fixing this to the ends of the hoops? I can fix it to the gh base boards easy enough sandwiched in between some timber stripping. Just not sure of best way to fix it to frame. I don't want the shadecloth or anything holding it on, coming into contact with the surface that will have the plastic on it, if you get what i mean. |

TT, if you fix it to a legth of pipe and attach pulley's to the ridge line and the bottom pipe.... then you can wind the shadecloth up during winter.... I've got a picture somewhere... I'll try and find it an PM to you. |

Thanks Rupe. This is a permanent thing 365 days on the ends. Need to keep the birds out. I have seen the pulley system but birds are a major issue. |

Got one end done. Used about a million steel screws but it looks pretty cool. |
