Yeeee Haaa, Yaaaa Hooo! Praise God I finally got my first components for my system. I hope I got a good deal, I feel like I did. I got these two tanks for $275 they are in great shape. One is 6 ft. long 2ft wide and 2 ft. deep, the other is a little over 7 ft. long X 2 ft. wide X 18 in. deep. I also found a fiberglass commercial fish transporter with an aeriation system with three diffrent compartments each about 50 gal. for $35. I am going to try and post pic. I've never done it before so will see. Well SNAP! I can't get the picture on when I try to add and attachment and submit my puter says internet explorer can't open this site. |

I thought I had it figured out. I went to upload it into my gallery and it came back and said my file was to big. It's just one little picture, could it be that it is too many megapixals? |

Pictures need to be small so it doesn't overload the site, less than 256kb |

here are a lot of various bits about it Quote: Most have a row of buttons across the top, one of which is marked "Modify" or "Image", click on that and in teh drop down window should be "Resize" Quote: Keeps getting lost...try this: 1) Press "Post reply" 2) scroll down to and press "Add an attachment" 3) Scroll down to "Filename"...press "Browse" and search and click on pic ...you can also add a "File Comment" 4) Press "Add Attachment" 5) Repeat steps 3 & 4 if you want to add extra pics (max 3) 6) Press "Submit" if you get an error message, the pic size is too large or too many pixels resize to below 256kb Quote: I use IrfanView (http://www.irfanview.com/), a free program that you can set to resize a bunch of pictures at once, it's not as easy-to-use as your MS tool though. But I think you might fix your right-click problem by searching through the options in your MS resize tool thingy (just start it up from All Programs). Usually there's a checkbox that enables the right-click menu, so disable it, restart the program and enable it again? Quote: Picasa works well also and it is free from Google. you can resize in batches.
try those options |

another option is to post the pic at a free online host, I like www.photobucket.com And then just post a link to the IMG. It will show up, scaled for the forum. If you still have trouble, you can email me the pics and I'll post them for you. rassd71 @ hotmail dot com |

http://search.microsoft.com/results.asp ... r+powertoy the search above on microsofts website not sure what OS you are using this powertoy is simple to add and when it is installed you can right click on an image and select resize picture I use the small but the medium should suffice here if you prefer |

My pictures are 1.47 MB think maybe that could have something to do with me not being able to download them on the forum. I will try and take some with my phone tomarrow maybe they will be smaller. I got these tanks from a guy who used to sell bait on the Trinity river. I don't have a clue what they are worth but they are commercial made fiberglass tanks with a drain in the bottom, they even have the pvc valves on them. |
