was just looking at earthbounds latest photo and noticed he had an NFT system hiding in the corner of the photo, as I am considering adding this to my large system I am interested how you are using it, what sucesses you have had and any problems, you have had with it. :D

Well spotted Nick, I didn't even notice that it was in any photos.... VB, it's in the corner of the pic I put in the album, only just... This is it below. I haven't had a huge amount of success with it, some plants did better than others, and these ones in it at the moment have only been there a couple of weeks.

As it's only a very small trial it's hard to know how well it would go larger scale, though plenty of other people use this method, so you should have success... Better to remove solids from the water if you want to try this way though, as solids catch on the plant roots and cause the roots to rot.

whats type of hose is that you're using EB?

The hose is the unkinkable pond hose, available from the "B" place...

I have never seen that hose at our mighty "B" store, but I will look again... I have a spare piece of downpipe, perhaps I should give it a try...

Generally in the pond section, near pond pumps etc... It used to be on a roll and was cut to length, now they have prepackaged bags at my local 'B'.
