Those oxygen concentrators are pretty simple in theory, they just use zeolite to absorb nitrogen, so... Why not pick up a small car compressor(like plug into a car, 12v, and Schrader head) and, say a used Coleman propane tank that's all the way empty and tinker around? You might be able to make an approximation that doesn't use too many amps, that could run off of small pv panels.

I tried to make ice cream with crushed dry ice once.

I made fizzy ice cream, it was weird. But I wish I could make a home liquid nitrogen system, that'd be very cool indeed.
