The question is how much air do you need.. For normal light stocking a little battery backup air pump is fine, but for high stocking densities you just need more air than you are going to get from those little pumps. I have one on order. I wish these were rated for continuous duty; I suspect they aren't. If they were I would use it all the time. 28 amps at 12 volts is only 336 watts!
