WOW!
I am sold on aquaponics.
My Tomato plants are growing like CrAzY!
If they keep this up, they will pass up the tomato plants in my traditional garden and they have been growing for a couple of months already. The aquaponic plant are greaner and more healthy looking... By FAR!

I don't have any solids in my fish tank that will not pass throughthe screens and I definitly don't have solids that will lock my impeller, other than the gravel in the grow bed. The screen just keeps the pea gravel from being sucked back into the pump from the grow bed.

My grow bed has a drain, but I noticed that since I have the water being pumped into the bottom of the grow bed, that as soon as the pump shuts off, it is also siphoned back through the pump already.

I guess that if something breaks, or goes wrong, I will have to "Rethink this setup" But if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
