I was thinking I will try the single carousel system with an integrated bio filter backup and fish in in tank

They look very attractive t660, my only concern is when trying to grow tall plants like celery, silverbeet, tomatoes or sweet corn...or vine type plants wrapping themselves around the mechanism...cucumbers, zucchini or even beans and peas.

If you kept to lettuce, lettuce or maybe try some lettuce they maybe okay (my thoughts)

thats a neato idea and sure does bring down the costs of planting when using those metal lights. there expensive! heh

wonder how hard it'd be to build your own just for salad green's using one flourecent grow light instead of several... think of the energy costs you'd save as well. or people that are on renewable energy systems. one lightbulb is better then several.
