I just found these at Tractor Supply, but I think I remember someone using them and the failed to hold the weight. Anyone remember this?
They seem like a good bang for the buck since they have a stand.

Michael Ferrini had a deal on the liners for the feed troughs for like $25 apiece. They need to be supported by a frame and/or platform because they will bend a lot under the weight of gravel and water.

Thanks Jaymie his system has them. I guess feed is allot lighter than wet gravel. lol

I've also seen them used as stock water troughs... so they must be able to handle their capacity in kilograms.....

i.e. 200 litres => 200kg....
Hydroton (expanded clay balls) don't weight as much as gravel.... an idea perhaps?
