Thanks, yeah i have seen those tunnels that go up in the air, but i couldnt find any clear ridgid tubes locally. I found some on the internet but they were fairly expensive, so i comprimised...

I have a tunnel between my two ponds, working the system in a similar way. When I first set it up I pu tall the golds in one tank and there was a gradual mutiny until all were in the other tank. I guess they preferred that one better :? .

I get how it works! took me a minute of thinking.

God help the poor owners of such a device if air ever got into it and broke the syphon! the tank with the pump would empty itself!

I have not actually seen them, but it would be best if the two ends were quite deep in the tanks, and i would keep them WELL away from any airstones :)

Great idea, will have to use it some how..............

They could be used to link up blue barrels with out the need for fittings

Yes, they are a very simple thing that look very tricky.

Wish I was an Aquaponics fan at 18 Daniel, you'll be an expert by the time you're old and crusty like Steve....

Hope to be an expert sooner (currently studying Aquaculture), but if or when i become an expert, i will have to credit alot of it to this site, and all you guys out there.

Yeah any problems with it would cause a big mess. Never seen any? well heres a link to a few big ones.....if they leaked.....Uh oh (some of the tunnels have more water in them then the tanks combined, and be pretty hard to get any fish out that mey have died in them...)
