I knew about rotating the stapler, but never heard anyone say to 'pin it' or knew that's what it was called....?

It's just so it's easy to remove. Paper shredders hate staples, and there are often people who's job it is to cut the corners off bunches of paper with staples in them.

Pity you knew. It's much more interesting when you dont :)

I remember discovering it.

Yeah they are a bit.

Pointy nose pliers are good if you have a lot to do.

Not my invention.... just trying to blow minds :)

What we really need to do is just stop using paper.

Vanguard wants me to send them a fax and a cheque to open an account! :)

I want to put some money in a cash account in case the market hits zero, and I can buy it all.

A fax! I thought only DRs still used faxes.

I might call them and just say <perfect pitch fax tone mode on> "beeee bahhh booooom dedalang didalang" and see what happens. Maybe I can fake it.

I'd trust two step verification and an encrypted link over a signature any day.

Every time I sign for a parcel I make up a new signature. It's not as if they have anything to compare it to.

Next time I'm going to sign "P. Oopoohead"and drive a staple into the stupid screen that I cant actually write on with either their small plastic stick or my finger.

Do I sound frustrated? I cant go out, and am stuck in my house. Stupid overactive/now drug suppressed immune system.

I should add "potential Typhoid Mary" to my skill set.

Doctors no longer use fax machines in the US... there is a security issue with faxing patient information and having it sit on a fax machine for anyone to pick up. Now doctors email prescriptions to the pharmacy here.

We still have a fax machine at work. There is only one person who uses it... the company founder because he is old enough he doesn't have a computer and doesn't want a computer. If someone emails him he has an admin who prints the email and hands it to him to read and he handwrites a response to have her type back to the email. He thought he was technologically advanced with his flip phone cell phone... I think it at least has bluetooth so he can talk on an earpiece now. It's not an in ear earpiece though, it's one of the older hang over your ear earpieces so you can still tell that he's talking on that and not just talking to himself.
