Hi all,

I need to put in a air pump to my 1000ltr/264 gallon IBC tank which would also split off to my 600 ltr/158 Gallon sump. Can anyone recommend a brand of pump and also if they would know what size you would use for this amount of water?

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated!

Do you need to put one in? If so I'd look at trying to make your air system your back up in case of power failure if you don;t already have a backup system in place.

Ive been using the "Blue Case Hailea Pumps" for a few yrs now , range of sizes a V-10 would be fine for your purpose
Spare diaphrams are available.

These pumps have power in that they will push the air down deep

Aquarium pumps the deeper you go the air flow drops off quickly

Link shows a V-20 I have one of those as well in the shed as a spare (its already done 3 yrs work)
