10 grams of Potassium sulfate in your 400 gallons system will raise K concentration by 3 ppm approx.

Do you have the possibility to test your current potassium levels ?
If yes, you can aim to 50 to 100 ppm.

If no i would suggest adding 50 grams at first and see how it goes. It may take a week or two to see the results.

To add it, simply dilute the sulfate in a bucket of water and add anywhere in your system.

Hope that helps

For what it's worth, my little system is only about 24 gallons. For the last 6 weeks I've been adding .5 grams potassium sulfate per 2.75 gallons of all new water. So to dose a 400-gallon system at that rate would take about 73 grams. In the ballpark with SebZ's suggestion.

thank you mate, I added about 50 - 60 grams and since last week every day when I keep my PH to around 6.8 I add the same quantity with (hydrated lime) to try to keep them in equal quantities in my system, my plants seems happier slowly :) thanx
