Sorry to contradict you EB--in the US, you can get a pre-built system.

Edited :

In all honesty FP, you could make up something like above, probably better for the same price or less.

They do have another bigger model .....

Fishperson, I don't know enough Australian geography to help exactly, but Livefish.au ships, and there are some threads over in the fish part of the forum that can help you locate a local source of silver perch.

FP, thought people down south would have jumped in - F&F has been recommending kangaroo fish farm, a place around Sunbury Vic (don't have a link  ), others are:
Ausyfish Childers Qld
Qld Native Fish Childers Qld

Both ship around Australia (I think)

I haven't bought any silver perch yet. I was looking at livefish.com.au they were offering 25 SP for $63 in postage. Shipping fish to Albany from over east would be very interesting indeed.

It all depends how many you are after. If you need 50-100+ there is a guy in Hamel/Waroona that has set up shop called Total West Fisheries. The email is twfish (at) bigpond.net.au. It is a fishing farm but he sells fingerlings too. Unfortunately it is still a long haul up Albany highway for you to get there.
