Hmmmm, energy saving is an important thing.. BUT, sometimes you just cant get around having to use energy - something I like about this site is how people have used recycled materials and the vast variety of systems out there - but insulation is not that easy to find at the opp shops and buy back shops, which only leaves using other means to HEAT systems! Personally I will be using a solar power pump for daytime hours and a mains pump (on a timer) for nighttime...

that’s a bit of a nasty poke at people who perhaps are still learning - I used WAY more power before I was educated and HELPED to see what I was doing incorrectly. I am very sure than nobody out there does this sort of thing on purpose.


Not the best way to make my first post (and say hello), but I do want to make my point that we all take time to learn, and that different people learn at different rates.

THanks, I am not out to make a name for myself, I just have learnt over many years not to make comments like that and often a helping hand/comment can go a LONG LONG way!

not a problem PTM - as long as we keep it all polite and helpful all is well - Just check out my systems and you will see that I have had to learn along the way too - but its time to get back onto subject...
