Need to or want to know where everyone is at in relation to nitrates and plants growing.
In my little system 130 baby guppies and growing one single house plant a vine of some sort. Nitrates read around 160.
In the 30 gallon system 50 guppies varying in size, two little grow beds growing 10 onions, another of the house plants, and attempting to grow 8 tulips. Nitrates around 160.
Last but not least the 300 gallon 35 yellow perch 4 goldfish, growing around 12 leaf lettuce, 9 pea plants and 8 onions. Nitrates reading 20.

white spot going well - nitrates went through the roof when I added 20 SP to the little system, did a few water changes to bring NO3 to 40 and system has settled down.

Have a chinese cabbage (1), several climbing and dwarf beans (all fruiting), 6 lettuces put in last week, basil, oregano, sage, chives and parsley shooting up now it has nutes
