A place to discuss aquaponics

I would like to hear from those your are successful with aquaponics north of 40' latitude.

Specifically, what type of greenhouse do you use , how do you add supplemental heat when needed, and what problems you have with the fish and the grwo beds.

I plan to construct some type of greenhouse in the spring of 2010. But if heating costs outweigh the return in vegetables and fish protein - that would not be good.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hey mjmckinney, check out this build. http://diyaquaponics.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=109 he is in Kansas and used an inexpensive harbor freight green house.
