the rockdust I washed out of my scoria set like concrete.
the rockdust I didn't wash out of my next batch, made the water really cloudy, buffered the pH real high and hurt my fishies... moderation I think is the key

i know of organic gardeners who use crusher dust (thats what it is called here) as a slow release nutrient/element replenisher... i guess it is the same type of dust.

it is cheap and plentiful.

I'm off to bunnings today to get some, I think all the rock dust that was left in my growbeds from not washing the gravel has been depleted.

Last year I had runner beans going everywhere, and this year they are doing nothing
