Was thinking of setting up some sprinklers or misters on a timer for where the GB's are. Mainly for the pot plants that are scattered around the place that I sometimes forget to water.
Was also interested if anyone had thought of flushing the plants to displace salts around the root zone. Also for insect control or seedling starting.

I dunk any seedlings in a bucket of water to wash off the fertilizer etc from the roots before planting in the GBs, this would also remove any salts or insect larva

Hooked up misters today. It was like standing in a gentle rain. Well if you stood under it. If you took a step to the side you were dry and the beer tasted better. :drunken: Going to have to hook up a couple more runs of pipe. I do like the idea of replicating rain. In the dirt garden it does wonders to have a couple of hrs of light rain.

Got the option for both. Still got the pressure pump. will run them on town water as there is not a lot of volume. But if it upsets any thing I will run them on AP water through a filter.
Water the front yard with AP water. Was only looking at a couple of kids standing in the sprinkler the other day. Went out and told them the funny smell was fish poo.
