Be careful or bury them?
I've had fun burying tanks and pipes, and would not recommend it if it can be avoided.
I suppose if designed right the first time, it wouldn't be such a problem. Oh and I HATE digging, so perhaps I'm biased

I appreciate the vote of confidence... But then in practise I am rarely a mechanical or civil Engineer. And like all engineers, I'm inherently lazy, and there's nobody asking for drawings or designs when I'm working at home.
I only had to do 1 rework though... it's the digging that I hated the most, for a tiny fix

Dig out the Clay, Backfill with sand!

sand and bricks to get your levels...
then infill with sand (or grit) & compact
with a relief pipe at the bottom of the pit
(for a syphon if flooding is an issue)

But I should but out because you prolly have that
covered

Digging is good for you.
