Hi guys. Sorry for the title, but I dunno what to call it. I read somewhere that there's a system in which fish push a lever & feed themselves (May have been a Jim Rakocy / UVI thing). Does anyone know about this or have photos? Supposedly the fish learn to use it in 3 days.

Thanks!

It works fine and has been working for years in fish farming, only is to fill them up every morning with the proper food ration, that depends on size of fish, environment conditions inducing stress, and temperature.
Not yet an automatic feeder that you can have to work for a while.
The feeders used in fish farming nowadays are computerised, with air pressure pushing the graded and dosed ration to the fish. You have parameter input and it calculates the ration for the day.
Hope it helps

Thanks! Honestly I'm getting way ahead of myself. I haven't figured out when I'm going to start my new AP project. My last attempt failed badly.

Thanks again!

Used to. Am over that now - except the odd nightmare of dead fish. Had one such nightmare last night, after having lost just 1 of my fish (due I expect to natural causes)
